- ElectraDB prices are in EUR and exclude VAT; the others bill in USD, before tax.
- ElectraDB does not overcommit CPUs: every vCPU in a paid plan is reserved for your database (only the Dev and Dev+ plans, for development and testing, share their CPU), on high-frequency cores with high-bandwidth memory. Competitors are therefore shown on their dedicated-CPU tiers, never on shared or burstable CPUs.
- The Dev row compares each vendor's smallest shared or burstable instance, as Dev's CPU is shared too; their minimum storage size is included.
- Competitor figures are exact list prices for Frankfurt (AWS, Google) and West Europe (Azure), on demand, for compute plus storage over 730 hours. Where a vendor has no matching size we show its smallest one that fits. Backup storage beyond the free allowance, I/O and data transfer are extra.
- Enterprise+ is ElectraDB's largest plan today (16 vCPU / 64 GB / 1 TB). Bigger single databases, 128 GB of RAM and up, are not offered yet.
- ElectraDB includes storage, backups, 7-day restore and traffic in the plan price. There are no egress fees.
- Competitor figures come from each vendor's public list prices; "≈" marks a total we added up from their unit prices. They change often; check each vendor's calculator for your case.
